| The
Hat Place, LLC has been in operation since 1996. Owned by hat enthusiasts,
the partners have combined their business, financial, sales and marketing
professional skills into a premier hat boutique for men and women. |
| After
several temporary locations in Wethersfield, Connecticut, The Hat
Place found a home in Rocky Hill, Connecticut in 2001 and remained
there until 2007. November 2008 ushered in a new business concept
and location. Located downtown Hartford, The Hat Place is now open
at 99 Pratt Street in an elegantly designed studio with separate areas
for ladies and gentlemen to augment the now famous Hat Place shopping
experience. |
| Since
its inception, The Hat Place has appeared on television, local radio
stations, featured in an international trade magazine and numerous
print media articles. Additionally, The Hat Place exercises social
responsibility such as sponsoring events that benefit the American
Cancer Society for example, the premier High Tea Affair at the Goodwin
Hotel in 2003 and the Wadsworth Atheneum in 2004. Both events featured
top hat designers including the milliner to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
II |
| Hats
are being rediscovered by men and women wanting to make a fashion
statement. To this end The Hat Place has served as the main feature
at numerous events in the state as well as into New York, Massachusetts,
Florida and Colorado. Events include polo classics and many other
sorority and group celebrations and fundraisers, as well as collaboration
with organizations such as the Hartford Stage for its 2004-2005 Opening
Night Celebration of Regina Taylors musical-Crowns. |

without a hat the occasion has not been given its due, the ceremony
is not as serious |
